Meet the team
TYC was founded by Artistic Director Marie Amey in 2013 as a Not for Profit passion project, where the income through fees goes back into the Acting School to provide a range of opportunities and experiences for young people. In 2019 Marie won the Pamodzi Inspirational Woman of Portsmouth Award in the Educational category in recognition of all she has done within the community. Marie teaches both Havant and Portsmouth Budding and Company classes as well as 1 to 1 Lamda tuition, all whilst orchestrating various other side projects!
She also works as an Actress and Director for other theatre and film companies and facilitates drama within Hampshire schools.
