TYC is more than a theatre company, we are a family

At The Young Creatives, we aim to nurture, care for, and support young people, giving them a judgement free environment in which to to grow whilst also providing various resources to enhance their actor training. All our students are absolute superstars, so we want to take the opportunity to celebrate some of their successes beyond their weekly classes...

Student Successes

Portia Welch

Upon graduating from TYC in 2022,

Portia has accepted a place at the

Performance Preparation Academy to continue her Actor training. Having recently achieved her Lamda grade 8 gold medal, we're excited to see what she goes on to do next!

Ellie-Grace Cashin

Upon graduating from TYC in 2018, Ellie continued her Actor training at the Identity School Of Acting, and was also accepted into the National Youth Theatre in 2020. Ellie is also the 2022 Roast Battle UK Champion and has added stand up comedy to her list of skills!

Third Wheeling

In 2019/2020, TYC students Sani Thabo and Oliver Sadler took the leading roles in University Of Portsmouth's third year Director Ed Price's short film 'Third Wheeling,' the success of which lead to them receiving the Royal Television Society's Best Comedy and Entertainment Award!

Peter Pan

In 2019, four TYC students Oliver Sadler, Dylan Pratt, Sami-Jo Jones, and Sani Thabo took to the New Theatre Stage in Peter Pan, with Oliver and Dylan even performing as John and Michael Darling!
